This is a tale of friendship based on the real characters portrayed in this children’s book. Both Captain Jimmy and Ms. Modo are known to the residents of A dock at Shilshole Bay Marina in Seattle. During the summer months of 2003, Kristen observed the antics of these cats and other creatures on the dock.
